Let’s salute the nation on this auspicious
day!
The students and teachers of Witty
International School, Udaipur celebrated Independence Day with mélange of
patriotic activities which created an atmosphere of the national pride on the
premises of the school campus on Wednesday, 15th August, 2018.
The celebration began in the school premises
with the unfurling of the National flag by Director Ms. Preeti Sogani, CEO Mr.
Archit Mehta, Principal Ms. Shubha Govil and Vice Principal Ms. Deepa
Chakravorty followed by a speech emphasizing the importance of acknowledging
the great struggle made by our freedom fighters and the challenges our nation
faces today.
In order to instill a feeling of patriotism
in the children, the teachers also organised various activities like tearing
and pasting, thumb impression and poster making for the students of Grades
I-IV. It was a rich learning experience for the children of the Primary
Section.
The spectacular celebration for the day
continued with a phenomenal patriotic performance by the students of Grade-V to
XII at Gandhi Ground exuding great energy, rejoicing and relating the day’s
glory.
Indeed, it was a day of joy and love, showing
respect and homage to our freedom fighters, making a better place for Indians
to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
