15th August 2018, saw teachers and the children of Witty
world Bangur Nagar dressed in Tri- colour clothes to celebrate 72nd Independence Day of our nation. AV was used
to explain to the children the struggle that lead to Independence
and the importance of Independence. Children were given
information about the national symbols such as national flag, national anthem,
national emblem, national bird and national animal.This special day
included activity sessions too. Children of Playgroup stuck tri- colour
crepe paper on a chart paper to depict Indian flag, Nursery children did
tri-colour maida painting on the flag and children of Jr.KG & Sr.KG children made tri-colour fruit salad. Later they had great fun dancing to
the tunes of patriotic songs. After that, teachers
and children assembled in the lobby area and recited the Pledge.
