In today’s time, we hear a lot about child
abuse and molestation. It’s high time, we start teaching young children about
“Good Touch Bad Touch” to help prevent more damage. Witty international School
,Atun road Bhilwara organized a workshop on Good Touch Bad Touch for the
students of Grade I to VIII and enhanced their knowledge regarding the safe
touch and the unsafe touch The students were taught about the body safety rules
.
The session was organised for three days,on 28.08.2018
Dr. Suman Trivedi who is the chairperson
of child welfare committee took workshop for Grade I and II, on 30.08.18 Dr.
Richa Rijhwani (MBBS MD Anasthesia, FIPM consultant pain specialist) took
workshop for Grade III and IV and on 31.08.2018 Mrs. Asha Ramawat who is the
member of the child welfare committee took workshop for Grade V to VIII. They taught
our students that it is our responsibility to sensitize, equip, so that we are
ready to face and handle any odd situation or person coming our way. Sessions was quite insightful which will help the children to
get a better understanding of the differences between a good touch and a bad
touch.
They learnt non-threatening ways to talk about the unsafe
touch with parents, teachers and older members of the family.
