The
beautiful quote written above came into existence just a day before the 70th
Republic day of India, when the cold grounds of Witty warmed up with the
bustling of bambinos.
The Synergy
of Witty School could be well perceived in Annual sports day 2018 -19. The
theme ‘Global Musical Fusion’ was exquisitely comprehended in the different
drills and races performed by the students.
The programme started with lightening of Torch by our honorable chief guest. The sports
meet was declared open
with the release of balloons. The vermilion sky brighten with the colourful dots while the toddlers
concocted for the different drills. An energizing flower drill set the tone for the rest
of the event.
The
students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath
being administered by the chief
guest. The students displayed a
wide array of energetic and vivacious races ranging from Me and My Shadow, Baby
loves to rock, Flute race, The whistler Sa Re Ga Ma, Jingle Bell Carol Fun.
The
amalgamation of global music well promulgated in the races like Honour of
countries, Gobal Musical Instruments, Currency Race.The students mesmerized the
audience with their energetic performances. The proud parents could be seen
filled with happiness to see their child performing.
Parents
and all the teachers raised the morale of the students. The Chief Guest and the
Guest of Honour awarded the medals and the certificates to the winners of the
various races.
The
Vice Principal addressed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of sports
in a child’s life. He was delighted little ones of play group participating as
well. The Sports Day ended with the National Anthem.
