Witty International School celebrated Synergy Sports Meet-2019 for the students of Playgroup and Grade I & II on 27th January, 2019 providing them a platform to showcase the spirit of sportsmanship.
The day commenced with the pious Namokar Mantra followed by the gracious presence of the esteemed Director Ms. Preeti Sogani, Principal Ms. Shubha Govil, Vice Principal Ms. Deepa Chakravorty and Head Mistress Ms. Joyce Rodrigues.
Mr. Mahendra Singh Shekhawat, former captain of Indian Basketball team was the guest of honour.
The pleasant weather and a well-coordinated march past was a feast to the eyes & ears, coupled with some stirring marching music.
The leaders of all the four houses: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald & Green mounted the flag with a pledge to discharge their duties & responsibilities earnestly.
The prodigies exuded strength & stamina by participating into various drills & races. They synchronized mass display of football & aerobics, garnered enthusiastic reactions from the audience reverberating the message that sports play an indispensable role in shaping the personality of an individual.
The principal Ms. Shubha Govil lauded the efforts of the bubbling buddies.
She advocated that games & sports teach students the value of discipline. Sportsmanship is only an another name for honesty, integrity, fidelity & loyalty.
