Republic Day Celebration
Witty
International School, Udaipur celebrated 70th Republic Day in
all its solemnity and grandeur with great patriotic fervour.
Wittians
reinforced solidarity, unity and reignited the sparks of Patriotism on 26th January,
2019 when the Tricolour was hoisted by the esteemed Director Ms. Preeti Sogani,
CEO Mr. Archit Mehta, Principal Ms. Shubha Govil, Vice Principal Ms. Deepa
Chakravorty and Headmistress Ms. Joyce Rodrigues. The teachers and the
students pledged their allegiance to the flag and promised to carry their
nation to greater heights with the National Anthem reverberating in the
surroundings.
The students ushered in
the spirit of Patriotism with the Inter-House March Past, a highly competitive
event followed by the oath-taking ceremony. An extravaganza of colour, rhythm, pride &
love for the country followed the march past and the plethora of events began. The
Witty choir presented the patriotic song followed by scintillating dance performance.
The surprise element was an energizing Yoga drill, which
enthralled the audience with the rhythmic graceful moves. The students
exhibited high levels of discipline, concentration and perseverance through
their well-rehearsed moves. The highlight of the day was the Sports Meet which included
various games, relay & flat races.
It was
an exciting day for the Wittians filled with lots of nostalgic memories of the
eventful and educational day amidst thrills, shrills and cheers.
