Orange is the colour of the day
So shining and bright
Pumpkin, carrot, fish, butterfly
Gives
my eyes a great delight.
Recognizing the
colours and identifying the colour names is an important part of a child’s
development. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link
between visual clues and words.
The little Wittians of Junior KG at
Witty World, Chikoowadi were introduced to Orange colour on Thursday, July 4,
2019. Orange is the colour of success, enthusiasm and joy. It is a blend of red
and yellow on the spectrum of light. The entire classroom was decorated with
orange colour objects like orange coloured fish, pumpkin, crayon etc. Chidren
and teachers came in orange colour dresses.
Children also made “Lollipop” with red and yellow colour in their scrap
book. Children celebrated orange colour with great fun. Through this activity
they got acquaint to the secondary colour that is “Orange”.
