I wish I were a baker man,
To wear a cap of white,
An Apron wide around me tied,
My baking tins shining bright
Then I could frost a birthday cake,
And fill an apple pie,
Or make some tarts with jelly hearts,
And gingerbread light and dry.
Keeping the theme of the month 'Community Helpers' in mind a professional home baker was invited at Witty World on Thursday, 29th August 2019 to meet the children of Jr.KG. The baker showcased all the different equipment right from the dough mixer to the big oven for baking, and the machine to cut loaves of bread into slices. The Baker assembled cupcakes in front of the children and packed one for each. However, the proverbial icing on the cake was when their teacher taught children how to make a ‘No Bake Chocolate cookie’ using Crushed Marie Biscuits, milkmaid and coco powder, and what’s more, had them taste it as well!!
It was a memorable experience which will be cherished by all.
