Raksha Bandhan is a festival which celebrates
the love and affection between brothers and sisters.
The students
of Witty International School,Atun Road, Bhilwara participated enthusiastically
in the various activities and competitions held on August 14, 2019. Students of
Grade 1 and 2 participated in Rakhi making activity. The students were provided a few decorative items to use their innovative approach.
Students of Grade III and IV participated in Greeting Card Making Competition.
In this way the Witty artists were engaged using their creative skills and they
came up with fantastic, festive centric creations. Students of Grade V and VI decorated Pooja Thali
and students of Grade 7 to 9 had Envelope Making Competition. Through these
competitions students learnt basics of decorations and to develop better
confidence levels. It was a constructive way to use the imagination and
innovation of the students by giving them the task to prepare decorative items
for Rakhi. These kinds of Raksha Bandhan activities in school are truly
rewarding as they not only get the job done but also help students explore
their creative sides and learn new ideas to do that.
