In accordance with the monthly theme of the curriculum, ‘Transport’ the little ones of Playgroup section from Goregaon (East) visited Kia car showroom on Friday, 18th October 2019, to get hand information about different brands of cars. The staff of Kia Car showroom warmly welcomed our team and clicked pictures and made the children very comfortable. Children always understand things when it is actually shown to them in a fun way and there is curiosity to know about new things. Practical learning has a very strong impact on children as the concept is imbibed well. The session was interactive as teachers explained about different parts of cars, how they work, what role they play and how to take care of automobiles. Teachers emphasized upon the fact that while driving any four wheeler, one should wear a seat belt and not use the mobile phone. It was completely a hands on experience and an extension to classroom learning where the children enjoyed the trip, and were very happy.
