Once again Witty
International School proffered its quiz bowl for students of Grade 3 to 9 as it
heralded its class wise and online quiz competition on 14 October 2019. “BRAINGLE”
the science and social science quiz was accepted with highest level of
competition and preparation.
The format of the quiz entailed a preliminary online
questionnaire for each class, wherein students were selected from each house
for the final inter-house competition.
The importance of quiz is that it is both team and
individual competition. Even though the students compete as team, a whole game
can change based on the random knowledge of one person. This was proven in the final
inter – house competition which compromised of three rounds. The General
question round, rapid fire round and audio visual buzzer round, which the
students enjoyed the most.
Witty encourages positive competition and hopes to
bring out the best in all its students through such competitive events, while
ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways- not just through
books and class-room teaching.
