Swimming pool one of the main attractions of Witty International
spattered with blue waters as Witty International School, Atun road hosted its
much awaited second swimming meet on 18 and 19 October 2019.
It was a display of beautiful athleticism and sportsmanship
as swimmers dove into the inviting water and speedily made their way through
the length of the pool. There were moments of breath taking sporting ability as
some swimmers easily outstripped the others in the lanes next to them. The
clappers and splashes echoed throughout the swimming pool with enthusiastic
swimmers diving in and climbing out of the pool.
Students of Grade 3 to 9 came together to participate in
the competition, displaying their swimming skills in varied styles. The
competition was held across different categories, namely 25m and 50m for both,
boys and girls.
Under the expert guidance of swimming Coach Mr. Mohit
Lakshar some of the top swimmers gracefully demonstrated the various styles.
Not only
did the students participated enthusiastically but parents also supported in
large numbers to motivate and encourage the students. The swimming pool had a
very festive and colorful look. The winners from each category were awarded
with a certificate and a medal.
The principal of the school, Mrs Abha Mittal praised and
congratulated the participants.
