International Day of Tolerance Date- 18/11/19
“Tolerance is harmony in difference.”
Wittians of Grade 6-8 celebrated International Day of Tolerance in order to make us reflect and realize the need to live in peace and respect the right of others. Even if we do not agree or approve the difference with people around, we still need to be empathetic and considerate.
Students were educated about the need for tolerance in our global society which is at present threatened by violence, discrimination and racism. Wittians displayed their viewpoint by writing quotes based on tolerance which were pinned on the Tolerance Tree.
