Recap of Colours by Playgroup Section (2019-20), Witty World, Goregaon East

Red is an apple, Red is a rose,
Red – Red – Red.
Yellow is the sun, Yellow is a star,
Yellow – Yellow – Yellow.
Blue is the ocean, Blue is the sky,
Blue – Blue – Blue.
It’s so much fun with different colors,
at school!

Colours surround all of us. Being able to identify colours helps build the cognitive pathways between visual clues and words. Therefore, engaging with children in helping them learn colours is important. The little ones of Playgroup had a recap of colours activity on Monday, 2^nd December 2019, at Witty World, Goregaon (East). The classroom was well decorated with red, yellow and blue colour concrete objects, flashcards and balloons. Teachers and children came beautifully dressed in colorful attire. Teacher had an interactive conversation about the three primary colours through an AV. The children did balloon dabbing on the art sheet in their concept book and also were encouraged to say few words holding the same colour object matching their attire.  It surely was a day filled with colourful learning.
