MEET THE AUTHOR
Reading is one of the most fundamental
skills children need to learn to be successful. Not only do good reading skills
benefit students academically, but also they are a skill required for lifelong
success. Reading develops vocabulary, increases attention span and promotes stronger
analytical thinking.
READING SHOULD BE FUN AND NOT
FRUSTRATING! It is believed that reading gives new way and perspective to life,
it makes one smarter and also increases creativity and imagination. The literary
world is a hidden treasure of wisdom and philosophy. Literature is a reflection
of the innermost recesses of one's being. To unravel its meaning you need to
know the person - his perspective and point of view.
Christopher C. Doyle, a renowned
author of the hugely popular ‘The Mahabharata Quest Series’ was invited to
conduct an online webinar on Saturday, 1st August 2020. The students of grade 7
and 8 got a golden opportunity to meet the author and listen to the story he
had to unfold. The author discussed Hindu Mythology by transporting the
students into a fascinating world where ancient secrets were buried in legends.
Interacting with the author in person offered a whole new level of excitement
to kids. The author kept the students occupied with his legends and epics. It
was an interactive session followed by question and answer round.
