Navratri Celebration at WIS, Udaipur


 "Live everyday as if it is festival and turn your life into a celebration"


 Festivals and celebrations have always been an integral part of Indian culture.

Witty International School, Udaipur organised an online special assembly on Thursday, 22nd October, 2020 to observe the festival of Navratri, which not only symbolises the victory of good over evil but also celebrates the spirit of Indian culture in its togetherness.


 Wittians of Grade I to X were informed about the importance of nine days celebration where in Goddess Durga, who is considered to be the true manifestation of power and the various forms of the Hindu Deity are specially worshipped. They were also shown an animation film to showcase this celebration observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian cultural sphere


 A colourful Garba and Dandiya Raas rejuvenated the vibrancy of Navratri. All the students attired in traditional dresses added to the festive mood. The positivity and energy exuberated out of the colourful costumes combine with the enthusiasm of dancing to the dandiya folk songs made the celebration extremely successful and fruitful. The students celebrated with great zeal and merriment and knew no bounds.
