Navratri and Dussehra Celebration by Pre-Primary Section at Witty World, Udaipur

Navratri is one of the most prominent festivals of India and is celebrated with great vigour and enthusiasm for nine days in India. The tenth day is commonly referred to as Vijayadashami or "Dussehra". Navratri was celebrated virtually with dance and devotion. Little Wittians of Nursery and Jr.kg came dressed in traditional attire to mark the occasion on Friday, 23rd October 2020.

Children were explained the importance of the festival through a story which explained the victory of good over evil and the worship of Goddess Durga followed by various activities like drawing an effigy of Raavan with the shapes in their drawing book. Children made eco-friendly dandiya sticks with newspapers and later enjoyed dancing on foot tapping garba songs. It was truly a colourful and a fun filled event. We wish all our students and their loved ones a very Happy and Prosperous Festive Season!!
