Talent Hunt

To take out the hidden talent and refresh the students from their mundane routine, a talent hunt activity was conducted in the school premises for the students of Sr.KG on Friday, 04^th March, 2016. The students chanted the shlokas, sang melodious songs and rocked the floor with their mesmerising dance numbers. Each and every child had very enthusiastically participated in the event. Children came beautifully dressed up according thei performances. Wittians had fun and everybody cheered for their peer’s performance.

Eyes are the windows of the soul.

Good vision is vital for a child who is still learning and growing. Detecting and correcting vision problems early allow your child’s learning ability to be unhindered. Keeping this paradigm in focus, Witty International School, Udaipur organized an eye checkup camp from 1 – 3^rd March 2016 for Grade 1 to Grade 8. The objective of this camp was to spread awareness on eye disorders, their early detection and to detect refractive errors and eye ailments among school children. The camp was organized in collaboration with Vasan Eye Care and overall 450 children were screened.

Optometrist Ms.Nikki Thakur addressed the students and gave them important tips to take care of the eyes like not to watch T.V., not to use Computer for a  long time, not to play with sharp objects, to avoid junk food, and to read in proper light. The school Principal Ms Shubha Govil thanked the Vasan Eye Care team and advised the students to eat green vegetables, fruits, salads etc and to look after their eyes properly as eyes are the gift of God.

Saint Valentine's Day, also known as Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated around the world on February 14^th each year. On this day people express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards.

Wittians of the primary section (RCL) came dressed in red, crafted origami 3D hearts. The students celebrated this day with great enthusiasm by spreading the beautiful message of love and friendship.

Primary Section Celebrating Basant Panchmi WIS,Malad [2015-16]

Basant Panchmi

‘Basant Panchmi’ is the festival dedicated to Saraswati the Goddess of learning. It also marks the beginning of the spring season. After the dry and snowy autumn mother earth is blessed by the new blossoms.

Students of Witty International School primary section RCL, celebrated this day with a special assembly. The assembly started with Saraswati puja followed by a small skit to mark the significance of the day. Students of grade II welcomed this season with a song. The assembly culminated with the students singing the national anthem.

FIELD TRIP TO BALWA GARDEN

Which is the place with lovely flowers?

With beautiful trees and sunshine showers.

Bees, butterflies and insects so small,

Yes the place is called garden by all.

The Children of Witty World, Nursery section, went for a Field Trip on 1st March, 2016 to The Balwa's Garden.

The garden was big, calm and peaceful. The children were excited to see the fountain at the entrance.

They were very excited to see the Flowers in the garden and took pride in identifying the ones that they were taught about in the class.

They saw different flowers and trees with different colour leaves on them. They were very happy to experience nature so closely along with their friends and their teachers. Teachers made the trip very informative by enhancing their knowledge about the insects, plants and flowers.

They returned to school after enjoying a fantastic day out with friends in the garden. 

Nest Making Activity

Children of Jr.KG enjoyed enacting like a bird as they went out in the garden and collected things like twings, dry grass, etc. to make a nest. They learnt about birds and their habitat. They had fun making eggs with the cotton and placed it in the nest.

Field trips are valuable learning experience for kids, wherein they get an opportunity to encounter and explore things.So, to give our children hands on experience, tiny tots of Nursery section at Witty Kids, were taken to the ‘Garden’, on Tuesday, 1  March 2016. They were excited to see different kinds of flowers, birds and insects and also saw trees with different coloured leaves on it. It was amazing to see them identify and name the flowers they knew. After exploring the nature, little ones enjoyed playing on slides, swings and merry-go-round. It was a fun filled educational learning experience for the kids.

Pajama Party

Little wittians of PG were dressed in pajamas for the Pajama Party on 29^th February, 2016 i.e. Monday.

They enjoyed the night time in day time.

They sang and dance with their peers in pajamas and enjoyed listening to the bed time stories narrated by the teacher.
